IF YOU SEE A $100 BILL ON YOUR WINDSHIELD, HERE’S WHY YOU SHOULDN’T RUSH TO GRAB IT

IF YOU PLAN TO GO ON SOME HOLIDAY SHOPPING, THIS IS A WARNING TO KEEP YOU SAFE!

This woman in Prince George’s County in Maryland shared her story so that she could tell other people to dodge mistaking prey to scams of thieves.

After she finished shopping she arrived at her car to see $100 bill on her windshield.

It was pretentious and she took a photo of it.

Later the photo appeared on Fox News.
It says that this was a way for thieves to get you distracted while they try and steal your car.

Here are some tips to get you through the holidays without your car or anything else being stolen:

-Always leave a light on in the house.

Burglars usually enter into houses when nobody is home.

Therefore, leaving a light in your house will give burglars restriction to get in and steal something.

It gives the impression that somebody is home.

-Lock your car.

If you are one of the people that leave bags, phones, laptop or other kinds of packages in plain sight in the back seat of their car, then it’s time to change that habit.

Put packages in the trunk out of sight and secure your car by locking it.

-Don’t Overshare on Social Media.

When you check in on facebook or other social media you let people know that you are not home.

This motivates and stimulates burglars.

Oversharing on social media informs them about your whereabouts particularly if your profile is public.
