Ramen noodles are one of the most popular foods around the world and the college kids simply love it.

People tend to ignore all the health dangers of instant ramen noodles which have been scientifically proved.

According to a recent study, ramen noodles are linked to increased risk of metabolic changes which can lead to heart disease and stroke.

Why Do Ramen Noodles Cause Heart Attack?

Ramen noodles contain Tertiary-butyl hydroquinone or commonly known as TBHQ.

It is a byproduct of the petroleum industry and a food additive which is commonly used to preserve cheap processed foods.

A gastrointestinal specialist showed revealed results after doing an experiment in which he used a time lapse video inside the stomach to see what happens in the GIT two hours after eating ramen noodles.

Processed noodles were less broken down than homemade ramen noodles in a period of two hours.

This interferes with the absorption of nutrients and allows the preservatives and additives to stay longer in the stomach before being transported to the intestines and finally eliminated.

What`s Bad about Instant Noodles?

The main ingredients in instant noodles are wheat flour, palm oil, sugar and salt. Moreover, it also contains artificial flavors and colors such as powered salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar and seasonings.

This delicious bowl of food contains more than 2,700 mg of sodium.

This has a huge negative impact on your heart and your overall health.

Another study, conducted in South Korea- the country with the highest per capita number of instant noodle consumers in the world, found that in 11,000 individuals, people who consumed more instaant noodles had a higher risk of metabolic syndrome, diabetes and stroke.
